When you're behind the wheel of the City, Honda safety innovations are protecting you and your passengers every step of the way. City helps prevent roadway mishaps and increase cabin protection with a very smart range of active and passive safety features.
Honda operates the world's largest indoor crash testing facility. It's where we develop and test safety technologies such as Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE). In case of a collision, this innovative technology makes the City more compatible with vehicles of different sizes.
Honda's G-Force Control Technology, or G-CON®, helps improve driving safety by controlling the forces of a collision's impact.

Complementing City's Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) helps increase vehicle stability, and Brake Assist (BA) facilitates the driver's pedal action during emergencies.
The City's wide window spaces, easily visible boot end, and large side mirrors minimise blind areas. They help make driving safer, as well as help you feel confident reversing into tight spots.
Six airbags are fitted on every City. Front and side airbags protect the driver and front passenger, and full-length curtain airbags help guard front and rear occupants.
The City features 3-point (lap/sash) belts on all 5 seats. Plus, the front seats are equipped with a pre-tensioner system that tightens the belts when a strong frontal impact is detected.
Like what you see but need to know more? The best way to experience the City is to contact your Honda Dealer and organise a test drive. Until then, you can download a brochure or order your very own.
